Election 2005

Today people vote for who they want to lead Britain, today me and Antoni have been campaigning for the great conservaitve party. Heres some pictures...

Because they will be able to vote next time, and it's important for *everyone* to be aware of politics - as it effects us all. Especially teenagers, as the state has far more control over them than it does over adults and thus the government in charge has a huge effect on their lives.

Good to see you campaigning, taking an interest, even if it is for that party! ;p

hahaha cos some 20 yr old is really going to think "Oh yeah, that guy i used to go to school with used to walk round wearing conservative stickers - I think I'll go vote for them!"

BNP did not do well, thankfully, they dropped votes in most places - a few increases in some divided places.

Tories did alright, could've done better though.

LibDems did sweet, great result for them, and so did Greens - they doubled their vote share.

People won't necessarily think about the campaigns in the school, or remember what some person said - but it may make them pay more attention to politics at the time, and that immersion will result in a better politically educated populous for the future.

Andrew is doing his bit to politicise people, and I think that's good of him. Regardless of his views.
