What's the point of campaining somewhere where no-one can vote?

"What's the point of campaining somewhere where no-one can vote?"
Because they will be able to vote next time, and it's important for *everyone* to be aware of politics - as it effects us all. Especially teenagers, as the state has far more control over them than it does over adults and thus the government in charge has a huge effect on their lives.
Good to see you campaigning, taking an interest, even if it is for that party! ;p
10pm by the way.
Oh, and grats on your party's gains.

BNP did not do well, thankfully, they dropped votes in most places - a few increases in some divided places.
Tories did alright, could've done better though.
LibDems did sweet, great result for them, and so did Greens - they doubled their vote share.
People won't necessarily think about the campaigns in the school, or remember what some person said - but it may make them pay more attention to politics at the time, and that immersion will result in a better politically educated populous for the future.
Andrew is doing his bit to politicise people, and I think that's good of him. Regardless of his views.
