Sleepover today with Antoni and Andrew M at his house which should be interesting, i hope we can find some shop to sell us some booze..any off license run by Indians should sell to us..they did on prom night :) My bags kinda packed..but i won't need that much..just a clean rugby shirt and some deodrant :)
The British and Irish Lions got their ass kicked by New Zealand 21-3 on the first test match today which is good as im going to put money on for a 3-0 clean sweep. Although i still support the Lions and wear their badge on my bag with pride, at least Mr Walton knew who they were :D
Holy crap..a 2.8gig game will only take meh..18 hours. w00t, i love 1mb (soon to be 2mb) which reminds me,look at this conversation i had with some guy/chick in AOL LIVE Support:

RyFowl: hello, i belive im entitled to 2mb broadband..but i have not been upgraded yet
RyFowl: what is the hold up with it?
WSMINBADARK: If i unnderstand you correctly you want to know about your speed upgrade,am i correct?
RyFowl: yes
WSMINBADARK: I apologise for the inconvenience you have experienced. I will do my best to resolve the situation for you
hmm ok, lets not beat around the bush here..
RyFowl: when can i expect the upgrade?
WSMINBADARK: To get started may i know your full name please?
RyFowl: my names Andrew Brooks although this is not my aol account.
WSMINBADARK: May I be honoured by calling you with your first name?
RyFowl: yes (at this time im thinking this person was stalling for time)
WSMINBADARK: Thank you Andrew
RyFowl: from an email i was sent..and there was some page that told me when i could expect it
RyFowl: it said to me May..but now its June, and still no upgrade
WSMINBADARK: At this time AOL has respeeded all the speed so it is taking its time as it is a vast network
RyFowl: so you don't know when i will be upgraded then?
WSMINBADARK: But i request you to please bear with us.

RyFowl: "WsminRakeshD: I have just checked your account and it shows that your area is not enabled to get the 1mb speed now so please wait for sometime and as soon as your area gets enabled to get that speed you will get the increased speed of 1mb as the last date for speed upgrade is 28th of june "
RyFowl: so he was lieing then?
WSMINBADARK: It is not that her is lying but as i told you that AOL is a vast network so it is taking time but do not worry your speed will be upgraded soon we are working on it now.
RyFowl: So how comes she knew when i was going to get upgraded as she "checked" the system, but you know nothing?

I have feeling aol live support is based in India..

Wish I could upgrade to 2MB, so poor, can't afford it just yet. Maybe soon, I live like 10m from the exchange so I should be able to get any speed.
That support sounded like it was automated, though maybe it had the occasional person helping it. Those messages were certainly not written by someone with English as a first language, it's accurate, therefore written by a literate and reasonably smart person - but the grammar is slightly poor, and the phrasing is not in the English style. You're probably right.
Did you hear they are planning on outsourcing the whole of the ONS (Office for National Statistics) to India?! So bad, that's all of our records for all UK citizens alive and dead, census, birth/marriage/death certificates, etc... Once it's outside the country the Data Protection Act can't hold it, it's insecure and unsafe. Not to mention how hard it'll be for them to understand all the British names and places, even the old stuff. :S
So annoying.
